Psychiatric Service Dog

Charlie is a valued member of the Insight Psychiatry team and has been part of the practice’s journey from the beginning. A Cavapoo a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle mix she enjoys traveling, especially through airports, and meeting people along the way.

Charlie is a psychiatric service dog trained to assist with anxiety, panic, and dissociation. She has also received therapy dog training to provide comfort to others. Her preparation includes obedience classes, Good Citizen training, and therapy dog classes.

Through calming companionship and reassuring physical contact, Charlie helps create a warm, welcoming environment where clients can feel more comfortable and supported.

Meet Charlie

Charlie is a Cavapoo (King Charles Spaniel Poodle mix).

She enjoys traveling, especially airport traveling and meeting people along the way. When she is not working she is home working as a farm dog, hunting mice and keeping the “big dogs” in line.
